Four creative types were invited to contribute a photograph to mark the end of the 365Day Project.

The concept: Celebration

Reflection in the Negative

Bursts of colour

“Whenever there is a celebration I like to make a card or wrap a present to mark the occasion and this suitcase is my first port of call. It has new and recycled supplies of all varieties and I am always inspired just looking inside it at the myriad of colours, patterns and textures. It was by coincidence that when I opened it this afternoon there was some foil folded neatly amongst the paper and ribbons. It’s the first photo I’ve taken for a while that didn’t require any effort except to point and click. No staging, no flash, no zoom, no fancy digital footwork. I hope you like it.”

“You said some of your favorite photos were the blurry ones and in keeping with your foil fetish, I thought I’d use it to distort the clear view while keeping things in focus.”

Coming attraction

– Agnes Stone

The journey took me to the other side of the world and back.

On reflection, like most people, I’ve had a year filled with highs and lows.

Looking at each photo, I’m transported back.

I expected to take a photo each day.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that looking through

the viewfinder changed my perspective on life itself.

I became fascinated with my surroundings, questioned my perspective

and challenged myself to find new ways of representing the “mundane”.

I fell in love with photography – I found inspiration.

Thank you for sharing the journey with me.
